I would say 95% is platonic or vanilla as it is called for couples that is.
For the single men community if you took the beach at Torquay Petitor near me as an example, it would be down to 45% vanilla, though I know that is a well known dogging area.
You always see the remarks of Naturist frowning on Swingers and Single men because of what happens sometimes as I have seen with the single men openly on the beaches. this can get beaches shut down to naturist in the long run.
Many sites advertise naturist beaches and say families areas, couples and single ladies and single men areas.
I have been told by a lady in a couple arriving at one beach that I should be down with the single men. I just replied don't worry your husband is safe; you also.....she was not amused.

Also there is rios in kentish town which is an almost naturist spa and two naturist sites in stalbans. Spielplatz and something else, maybe The Sun People or something like that. I forget, it's so long since it's been a possibility. |

As a complete newbie, I have a question: if I took my partner to Studland over the summer what would be the chances of us getting hassled?

Yes of course - its a public beach with families enjoying themselves. If you position yourself in tbe dunes then you're likely to attract attention of tbe dune patrol but don't think for a moment you'll be swamped by single men.
The dunes are patrolled to keep misbehaving down so keep this in mind. If you want to play bring a pop up tent so you can do so in private.
Its a great beach but due to clubs being closed it attracted a few idiots who mistook it for a swingers venue. The last thing anyone wants is to lose its naturist status.
