"Linkin Park - Meteora

Love the Collision Course Album with Jay Z"

It’s one hell of a collaboration. Everyone normally goes Hybrid Theory when they go Linkin Park but Meteora is a near perfect album in my view. Melodic and heavy in the right places.

One? this is bullshit how am I meant to choose one. from this year or just generally?

This year probably: Jay Elctronica - A Written Tesimony

Last Decade: Jai Paul - Bait Ones

Decade before: LCD Soundsystem- Sound Of Silver

Can’t think of an all time one just because there are so many. Maybe Dion - Born To Be With You

If you're into something heavy, would put a big recommendation in for anything by Sabaton, though Heroes is the strongest imo. Heavy metal telling the stories from military history is their thing, so get to have a mosh and learn something interesting at the same time!

All these albums have different reasons why theyre “must listens” -

Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, Thats What I’m Not - one of the most stonking debut albums but a British band for years

IDLES - Joy as an Act of Resistance - captures Brexit Britain & a few other cultural phenomena perfectly

Fleetwood Mac - Rumours - one of the best albums, especially for songwriting, ever

Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures - a glimmer into what could have been but still one of the best albums one can listen to

Sault - Untitled (Black) - very recent but amazingly powerful, Wildfires is an incredible song about the murder of George Floyd & others black Americans
