I've never understood why people message and say something along the lines of "you make my girlfriend look ugly"
If someone is prepared to talk about someone they claim to love or be in a relationship like that with surly there is no way surely anybody would meet them.
I just wonder why people sometimes feel the need to put up as down to make someone else feel "special "

I think part of it is this pernicious idea that we're all backstabbing and jealous of each other.
The only thing messages like this do is make me feel sorry for the woman and dislike/ block the man.
It's not a competition. Lots of other women are beautiful and wonderful and attractive and intelligent and worthy in so many ways. Let's celebrate it. |

Iv only ever had about 3 messages like that but they've always baffled me.

I just don't know what they hope to achieve.
In my opinion if someone has a bad attitude about another woman and feels the need to put her down they are someone I wouldn't touch them with yours let alone mine. |

Those types of men are just an instant no. Every woman I have ever spoken to on here does not enjoy that kind of crap. Women I have found here are the types to straighten another woman’s tiara without telling the world it was wonky. Supportive and the types to build each other up and not tear one another down. Those are my people. You’re all bloody awesome. |

I couldn't agree with you more, Obviously you always get the odd catty comment and drama but on the whole I find the women on here very supportive. |

I feel lucky to have only spoken to women who are just totally accepting of who they are. It’s shows! Those types that are catty have issues... probs shouldn’t be here tbh |

Yep! Or any thread about body parts, hang ups or preferences. Insteas of comments saying "I personally prefer X to Y" , you seem to always get "X is so much better than Y and Y is totally undesirable for all these reasons" with no thought to how it makes people with Y feel. I've experienced it a lot on the threads about lady parts. While I totally appreciate that women with larger labia often have a bad time with nasty comments and I feel for them with the insecurity many feel over them, at the same time it isn't fun reading a whole thread about how boring and less fun my genitals are because I don't have them. |

Yep! Or any thread about body parts, hang ups or preferences. Insteas of comments saying "I personally prefer X to Y" , you seem to always get "X is so much better than Y and Y is totally undesirable for all these reasons" with no thought to how it makes people with Y feel. Totally agree with you.
I just don't see why it's necessary, Yes you might prefer X and that's absolutely OK but there is no need to belittle or put down y.
The only thing I can think of as to why people do it is because they think that there going to be appealing to the group they are bigging up. |

I've only ever had a couple of messages like that and it's an instant block. I'm not here for that sort of stuff.
As for body shaming in threads, I tend to stay away if the thread becomes nasty.

There are very strange people on here that fire off the same message to everyone on the site.
The one about making the girlfriend look ugly is just bizarre 
I wonder if they have ever got a reply from it.
And the one where they want you to use them as a toilet that I'm sure every woman on Fab has recieved

How common is this really, I can’t it imagine it happens that much, but clearly the people who say this, will say the same about anyone, so they can’t be trusted. |
