Another one in the "she's got thrush" corner here - wouldn't phase me in the slightest and in fact I'd be honoured she felt able to tell me honestly and would probably suggest just meeting socially if she wanted to |

Would it matter? If you had an STI and you told someone (and postponed a meet) then I'd be more interested in (eventually) meeting you because I knew you were trustworthy and responsible. |

Due to a bad chest infection I was prescribed a course of anti-biotics which didn’t help, so they gave me an even stronger dose which cause me to have a reaction to the tablets.
The result was I got a very bad dose of thrush which was a complete surprise as I thought thrush was purely a lady’s condition. I was in so much pain I drove myself to the hospital at 3am in morning.
Imagine my reaction when the casualty doctor and nurse announced my condition.
So all you ladies who suffer from this condition have my utmost respect and sympathy! |

This. Its not an STI but can be passed from partner to partner. I kept getting it when my husband was off shagging other women! Havent gotten it once since I found out and dumped his ass! |

The only thing I ever caught from sex in all my years, was thrush. That was from a woman who told me she had regular bouts of it. So it can be induced, if not transmitted.
But I didn't assume she had an sti, as I believed what she said. Which turned out to be very real. |

My husband used to get really terrible side effects from antibiotics! |

No as I know better.
I would also thank her for there honesty in telling me it as well.
I would also still meet the lady for drinks and social meets as well.
As theres no need to treat anyone like a leper either. |
