With all these fireworks?
Pretty sure I heard some sort of animal crying outside my window earlier but went out to check and couldn't see anything. Feel so sorry for wildlife and pets during the fireworks period, the loud noises scare even me so I can't imagine how anxious they must feel |

My heart goes out to people and their pets this time of year
Luckily my boy is chilled, he likes the colours and will watch them from the garden, very often waiting for the next one
The wind however he doesn't like it, one creak of the door and he's off hiding |

"My little Cat is really quite chilled and slept throughout and there’s been loads going off tonight "
Sounds like a heavy sleeper lol, I can hardly sleep with them! Although mine are all very close as I live in the suburbs and a lot of people celebrate Diwali as well as Bonfire Night here. |

My dog is deaf as a post now, though previously she was a nervous wreck. Luckily she in a miniature cavalier King Charles spaniel so she would climb up and literally be on my shoulder x |

"Mines really struggling. Last year he was just a pup and was ok this year he’s so unsettled and barking at every sound "
It's hard, but dont reassure him, you are affirming to him that is ok to be scared. I learnt this with my second dogs, then I had no scared dogs again. |

Our springer was born on the farm and is so used to guns going off that he doesn’t even seem to notice fireworks. The cat has slept through them. Our three year old on the other hand is absolutely hating them. |

Neither of ours give a flying one! Springer can't hear, small person doesn't want to. |

Our two insist on sitting on the window sill watching them. The loud noises don't seem to bother them as they now associate them with the pretty lights. But god forbid I put the hoover on... |

Can't put my horses in their stables for a few days due to the noise and lights. (They're "flight" animals so need room to run if they get scared). Dogs fairly stressed but cats and goats don't give a hoot! |

"My 10 month old pup doesn’t give a shit but my 10 year old ‘pup’ shits herself "
Mine (8yo) is usually fine but was very needy and unsettled last night.
The resident canine oap is deaf and daft and totally unbothered. |
