Just curious as reading profiles see a lot say don’t just be simple and say hi , how are you doing? Be adventurous and use your imagination... as I can imagine 200 messages saying hi must be annoying but what is a good message to receive ?? |

"Reading their profile and having a few comments about it usually do the trick if they are attracted to you.
If they are not however, you could be roald dahl and get no reply lol"
Yea I always do this and try and personalise it so they know it’s not just a thoughtless message , still not much joy though must be an ugly fucker hahaha |

Don’t just say “hi” or “how you doing” or “what you doing” - as a woman these kind of messages really get on my tits!
It’s the message equivalent of a deflating balloon.
Instead maybe compliment on a photo, use something in her profile that sparks an interest and I don’t mean “hi, I notice you like sucking cock - ta-dah! I have a cock!”, but more if she mentions going to gigs or whatever.
Ask her a long leading question? That shows a bit of thought.
And if she doesn’t reply then just move along to someone else and pay it no mind. Don’t take it personally. She may not answer as she’s in a bad mood or just because you wear the wrong colour underpants. But never take it personally. She doesn’t know you so it’s not a rejection based on “you”.
Try and stay upbeat in messages. Women like a fella to be upbeat and positive when it comes to sexy time.
Good luck and enjoy yourself. Fab is supposed to be fun more than anything. |

Something original. And personal.
It's why, like asking for profile improvement advice, asking what to put in a message is pointless.
You'll just end up trying to recreate something someone else has tried before. And you're not them.
Just because a certain approach works for some doesn't mean it will for others.
If you try someone else's idea and it opens a door that door may well close quickly if you can't replicate the style of conversation.
Just be yourself. It'll either work or it won't.

I'm probably going against the grain here but "hi, how are you?" messages
are fine by me. It's the content of the messages that follow that count.
If someone came up to me in a bar and introduced themselves with more than a brief "Hi, I'm Fred would you be interested in chatting?" I'd be |

"How many folk have received a message saying either “hi” or “how are you”, only to go to the profile and read “be imaginative with your first message”?"
I tailor all my messages based on the lady's profile, doesn't make a difference, but I do! |

Am going to jump in here and say me personally it doesn’t matter what you send if I don’t fancy you your not getting a reply.. just like if I don’t fancy you am not going to walk up to you in a bar!
Am not ashamed off my so called shallowness as av no interest in wasting anyones time!

Perfectly true.
Anyone receiving a one word 'Hi' message will more than likely be more forgiving if they fancy the sender.
If not the most eloquent, unique, tailored, perfectly composed prose will get the same rejection as a 'hi' or 'FAF?'
