As if this is even a debate??
It’s roast potatoes.
A roast dinner missing a yorkie is a bit disappointing, but a roast missing roast potatoes is a crime. |

Well as a Yorkshireman its always gonna be a pudding and if you don't agree you have not eaten pudds made by a Yorkshire lass.
Having said that the first time in my life i ate pudds as a desert it was served up by the anti Christ a Lancastrian lass. |

That’s one thing that differs from my childhood.... I use olive oil and not lard and it’s cooked separately from the meat, it’s the gravy or dessert topping that adds the flavour |

Yeah but everyone with more than one child secretly knows they have a favourite. Same in this scenario.

If I had my own principality, then combining chocolate and orange would warrant the death penalty.
But let’s stick to the narrative.
I’m all about the roast potatoes, but those Yorkshire people definitely elevated the pudding for me that it’s a regular on my plate - Even Christmas dinner  |

How are they even comparable? You can very easily have both and I reckon most people do when making a roast of some sort.
