Zero bottles a week. I so like it though and will enjoy a glass or two when possible. I also like cava and prosecco.
A guy we met from another site years ago invited us back to his for champagne, when we got there he produced a bottle of cava with a flourish. I don't care, I like cava just as much but don't treat me like I'm daft and can't read the label on the bottle |

We treated ourselves to a really posh holiday for our 25th wedding anniversary. Champagne was very available all the time. They had a quiz one night (so not that posh then) which our team won. The prize was champagne, a lot of champagne, which it would have been rude not to drink. I think that might be the d*unkest we have ever been |

None as I am pretty much tea total
Only time I ever have a drink is new year or if I am out to dinner with a nice lady I may have one or two but apart from that I don’t drink at all |

'We live very simply — but with all the essentials of life well understood and provided for—hot baths, cold Champagne, new peas and old brandy'.
Winston Churchill
I enjoy Champagne with friends but rarely drink on my own. I've currently 26 bottles sitting in a dark, cold cellar. My favourites are Veuve Clicquot and Pol Roger.
Churchill is estimated to have quaffed some 26,000 bottles of Pol Roger (along with a myriad of bottles of other alcoholic goodness) over the course of his lifetime.
