Many years ago, when I was in my 20s, one of the lads from the village run into our quiet pub, in a sleepy village, in a forgotten part of Devon.

I was playing pool with his brother , as he rushed breathlessly towards the table and proclaimed “Britney Spears is single again”

To this day I still do not know what I was supposed to do with that information.
