Well you're not gonna look like Jane Torvill no, and I don't suppose you are thinking of wearing an ice skating costume, but you will the same as every other skater. If you've got a bit of natural balance then holding on round the sides for the first couple of circuits and you will soon have the hang of it.
If I can get around on skates without holding on then anyone can.  |

If you're experienced, just go for it. If not, perhaps go to an indoors rink first, as some may be on the Christmas spirits, mulled wine etc, and may be less attentive to have around you.
Otherwise, you'll be a star Diamond. |

Did you have to mention ICE ..
we live in scotland.. and will very soon be giving my own bambi on ice impersonation almost every morning when i go down the street..   |

last time i went ice skating i wearing a big parker type grey coat, manage to trip and fall on my belly (nice soft landing  ) and skid across the ice
the likness of a seal jumpin out of the water on those nature programmes was not lost on the bunch of little......darlings.....i took with me  |
