Would be slimmer - but today for example, long bike ride which is good - but stopping for nice lunch and a beer - then getting home for cake sort of spoils it!

I think like most body shape/size definitions, slim encompasses a wide variety of humans.

Slim or athletic?
Gym fit these days seems to mean full bodybuilder ripped muscles, I blame the film 300 since then everybody wants to be a Spartan.
I do few triathlons so I have a slim runners build and being lightweight helps on the bike as well, but still got muscle definition where it counts. |

Mmmm I love being spooned by a tall slim man. Skin is in perfect contact with all of me. Because I'm quite small with squooshy curves, we just kinda compliment each other.
And everything is so... Prominent. Easy access.

I really do hate the term 'dad bods' lol
People's perception of slim is so fucked up by men feebly trying to excuse their weight imo - as if it has anything sensible to do with fatherhood . People are often just the weight they are (if you wanna lose excess blubber stop eating crap isn't it?), and clearly it's soooo subjective anyway. What is a size men are happy with if it's not big or slim?

The BMI scale is a range and you can be on the slim side of it I guess. There are calculators online.
I suppose if someone had a particularly stocky structure they might not always be perceived as slim (perhaps with clothes on), but I would say 'slim' if I was on low end of my BMI for sure.
Interestingly with the BMI, up until I was about 50 I was always slightly in the red, simply because my metabolism is so high (which doesn't by itself make you healthy btw, though I was pretty healthy whilst being in the red). There was absolutely nothing I could do about it.
I'm guessing that some people may have found that the other end of the scale - it they might be healthy large people just slightly in the red. So the BMI isn't perfect, but it does actually cover a range.
