Shrove Tuesday is swiftly approaching. Any suggestions for what to put in them? Jaffa cakes are not allowed

Also, do you make your own from scratch or use a kit, or buy them ready made?

I've always liked them with just sugar, but recently discovered how great they are with chocolate spread. And we always make our own from scratch

Made from scratch.

Dunno if this is the Irish way or not but people over here don't seem to do it, but spread with butter, sugar and a squeeze of lemon.

On a mooch

Simple lemon and sugar. Or when the batter is cooking through in some raisins, then lemon or sugar.

Second one is hot Cherry or apple, with a dollop of vanilla ice cream then folded over.

I use protein powder instead of flour, usually chocolate flavoured. Filled with fruit, skyr, and honey.

Another vote for lemon and sugar. Home made definitely (don't forget to let batter stand for at least 20 mins before using)

I'll be honest, I forgot about the joy of savoury pancakes. We don't have them often, but have enjoyed them with creamy chicken inside and also bacon and cheese. Yum

Mashed potato, onion and white cheese.

It’s known in many places, such as Poland, as “Russian style”, so maybe not the best just now, but very very tasty.
