Breaking Bad. Just 9 episodes a season of filler bullshit until a half decent season finale. And it's testament to the arrogance of Breaking Bad fans that they think an episode about a fucking fly is some of the best TV ever created  |

Not liking something is fine. Claiming fans are ‘arrogant’ for liking something makes no sense at all. Unless they made it what do they have to be arrogant about? Finding them pretentious I could understand (a lot of people get like that) but arrogance I can’t get on board with |

Any and all reality tv shows, all full of shallow talentless people.
And ironically, talent shows. Making a spectacle out of humiliating people (x factor)
Soaps, cop shows, most sit comfortably.

Peaky Blinders… I seem to be in a minority of 1, and for various reasons I really did try, but I didn’t get to the end of Series 1. And I don’t get all the ladies who rave about Cillian Murphy either |

some period stuff is ok I find .. depends what it is though .. at a moment I am enjoying the Sherlock Holmes series from 80s with Jeremy Brett .. good translations of the source work I find .. Sharpe was a great period series . horn blower
though down on abby and bridgerton are just mehhh to me . |

Brooklyn 99. I swear there's a generation of people on American comedy and it's all dreadful. B99 is the worst but it's a crowded field. How I met your mother, big bang theory, I'm sure there's others I'm missing.
Some of the period dramas can be quite good (admittedly can't recall the last good one I watched) but the creators of peaky blinders has a lot to answer for.
I know we all have our own tastes and sensibilities, so the broadcasters don't have an easy task. But some things do appear to get a disproportionate amount of screen time. How many television programmes do we have that essentially revolve around antiques?
