Also found a sizeable stash in a hedge, before I started work at 16. Can't remember my exact age.
Used to find mags as an apprentice at work in the gents. Trying to get them out of the factory and home, was creative. Getting them back again in the morning was easier as not a lot of people around.
Around 2 months back, dissembled a load (Easily 100) of VHS tapes and took them to the tip.
Currently have a collection, that will probably end up in the paper waste at my local tip. |

When I was a teenager, I had a mate who was an apprentice gravedigger.
He loved to dig in his spare time too so he could be on top form for work 😁
We lived in a village with fields everywhere.
I found out that he’d been digging grave-sized holes in fairly remote spots, lining the dirt ‘grave’ walls with pages from porno magazines - then putting a piece of ply over the top and covering again with loose earth.
He had about half a dozen caches of porn around the village and he would visit a specific one based on what porn he wanted to knock one out to!
He called them Porno Palaces 😂
What a legend!
(I haven’t seen him in a long time. If he didn’t become a killer then I’ll eat my fucking hat)

I remember me and my mate hooking up his VHS to my VHS recorder. Then copying several tapes. Then the fateful one Young Lady Chatterley. Managed to get stuck on the heads of one of our machines.
Had to take it back to the shop, which was filled with customers and pay a nominal fee of about £10 for wrecking it. So embarrassed, but luckily they never found out we were copying them. |
