I have been seeing a lady from here on and off for a few years now. At first the sex was phenomenal.
Unfortunately she had unresolved issues in her past and was recommended by her GP to have CBT. ( Cognitive behavioural therapy)
It triggered underlying psycho-sexual problems. She can’t even bear being touched now. Hopefully in the fullness of time she can regain her trust in men. |

They do the job that I've assigned them to do.
The job being maintaining a connection with my body and others without some sort of weird relationship/expectation pressure.
I have a disorganized attachment style. I'm anxious in emotionally close relationships and am currently avoiding emotionally close relationships because of that anxiety that they produce in me.
Not the best or the ideal, but I do enjoy them and they stop me from completely disconnecting and detaching myself in a non-sabotaging way. |
