Chorley

Got to thinking about how lucky I think we are generally, compared to others.

I'm personally grateful for my job. My company treats it's employees really well, and it's generally not toxic. Having worked in some less favourable situations before, I really appreciate where I am.

How about you?

Chez/Sheff

Mostly I’m just glad to still be here.

And despite recent attempts to sabotage it, enjoying one of the highest standards of living in the world.

Carlisle usually

My job, I'd never experienced being appreciated and rewarded for my weird ass way of thinking before, I don't think I'll ever want to leave my boss.

My favourite people. I'm incredibly sick so barely speaking to anyone at the moment because I know I'm fucking awful when unwell, but I'm still extremely grateful to have them in my life.

My rescue mutts. They keep me going on the hard days when I can't imagine being a benefit to another human, those beautiful bastards need me whether I appreciate it in the moment or not.

That's the Spirit!

It's ready to get carried away with the challenges, but sometimes it's good to get remember how lucky we are!

I hope it goes without saying that Vixen makes me a very lucky guy. Yes, I'm punchin', and proud of it!

Where would you like me?

My home. When we were looking at buying a house I'd put it in the dream home category created on Rightmove. Didn't think I'd ever live here and every time I go away, I'm so happy to be back here.

My body. My mind. Sure, they're not perfect. Few issues here and there. But I love me. Flaws and all. Sometimes I wish I wasn't ND. But then I remember how fortunate I am. How grateful I am to be alive. At one point I didn't think I'd reach 30, let alone 35 in a couple of years.

My loved ones, platonic or romantic. I'm not the easiest person in the world. But they remind me through little things that I'm deserving of love. Keep me optimistic about people, inspired by their strength and capacity for care. I'm very grateful and blessed to have them in my life.

(I'm going to message one now because I love him and stop this becoming pure waffle!)

Best is being in a position to help others and not be a burden to anyone in life.
