We are looking at getting a camera for mainly photos for sites like this but we know nothing about them , megapixels mean absolutely nothing to us and auto focus is something you do on the way home from the pub . second hand / new , cost etc any advice would be great TIA

Most phones can take very good photos if you take some time to learn. If you're convinced you want a camera, what's your budget?

I would suggest grabbing a couple of cheap LED light panels with tripods from Amazon or similar, to use with your phone camera. It's amazing how much better your photos can look with semi-decent lighting

I had a samsung 23 but that was purloined ( other words were rejected ) so only have a s9 now and a vmotal GDC8026 waterproof camera would they be good enough as someone messaged and said it's more to do with lighting than the camera . as for budget I would know where to start but it needs to be idiot proof

The ones I was talking about are about the size of an A5 sheet of paper, and are a flat LED panel. I think they're normally only about £20 for a pair so certainly worth a try before splurging hundreds on a DSLR
