No. I am scarred by the constant ironing of ridiculous items that my mother forced me to do. I only iron things that absolutely MUST be ironed. I don't think I've ironed anything for a couple of years now.

The last thing I ironed was my own school uniform. That would have been around 1994.

My dad though ironed everything. Even handkerchiefs (he was a handkerchief kinda guy!)

There was always a great satisfaction to ironing... smelling great and crips nice clothes. Then kids came along... I'm too knackered lol ... but tumble drier does sort a lot of creases out. Never ironed "smalls" though. ... my mother did though lol. Everything was ironed.
