Mum actually made a kind of mince pie cake type thing, which I was obliged to take a third of when I left after visiting for Christmas.
Although I don't really have a sweet tooth, I was optimistic that I was going to finish it, but a friend has just visited with a load of Baklava, so now my eye is wandering away from mince pie cake.... |

Been making my own as I normally do but had an accident with the Brandy bottle when making the mincemeat filling and the finished pies turned out to be very alcoholic.
Made about 50 though for adults but had to buy another 50 or so for the Grandkids. |
