Is a marriage across social divides doomed for failure? If a man with wealth marries someone from a poor background then in the back of his mind does he worry about his wealth and introducing her to his friends ad peers.

Well if she'd been a scullery maid she would have picked these things up while observing the social interaction of her employers so I'm sure it would be fine |

I'm pretty sure poor people have table manners too.
I don't see it as an issue, I've dated people where I have been the high earner and vice versa it's never affected any relationships.

A man with Wealth can marry any woman or class he desires he wint have antsy problems.
However women only marry upwards and will be unlikely to marry a man with less means or social status.
Men are attracted to beauty and women to status. A poor but beautiful woman will always marry wealth or look for a man with higher social status.
A man has to build his by work or study.

It doesn't work like that either. If a woman wants a man she is always going to get one regardless of looks/body type.
It's the women that tend to set to high standards.

My ex husband came from a very wealthy background whilst I grew up in a council house.
However, I turned out to be a grafter while he turned out to be a work shy scumbag and a criminal to boot.
No wonder it failed |
