Pub lunch sounds good, although I need to leave room for dessert too.

Hope I’m sitting next to someone nice

Mrs Bang Bang LOVES a roast dinner and I love food so we'll definitely be there. But don't expect witty banter or engaging conversation until the plates are clean

Depends how traditional you want the dinner. My favourite to cook is a slow roast mint and rosemary leg of lamb cooked in a redcurrant and red wine gravy served with garlic and rosemary roast potatoes, griddled asparagus, Yorkshire puddings and honey and cumin seed roast carrots and parsnips.

Other protein options include

3 mustard pork with a cider and mustard jus (served with crackling)

Lemon and tarragon butter chicken

Pepper beef with a port jus

If you want a little more off the wall I can also provide:

Pomegranate molasses and sumac kangaroo steak

Shawarma spiced lamb slow roast over new potatoes with garlic and onion

Pomegranate, cardamon, garlic and cayenne spiced guinea fowl.

I have also on occasion thrown together a venison Wellington.

MB presents my preferred food, but Mirth&Girth’s is actually Sunday Roast…

So I declare a tie

In other news - I’m off to Toby. A place where I can be greedy & have a little of everything I fancy

Would a big beef stew with veggies served in a giant Yorkshire pudding be classed as a Sunday dinner?
