What's gone wrong? Well...

They couldn't plant the seeds on time cos of the weather which was from the cloud seeding from those pesky Russians... Or maybe it was the french... Or maybe the global warming.. Or possibly brexit....so we would be forced to buy Ukrainian potatoes... Then even if they could plant the seeds they couldn't harvest them because of... (see above)... So they rebranded some AI potatoes using Bill gates magic wand.

Makes perfect sense...

Hmmm well all I know is it sucks, childhood memories of a good potato lost for good it seems, kind of thinking nobody can be ars.. bothered to do things properly these days, just the usual rush rush that will do

Sagittarius A

Is it just spuds from Cheshire?

I was brought up eating giant sacks of them from the back of some tractor by the side of the road.

They're alright I suppose, can't say I've noticed a major difference.

A giant sack of Cheshire potato’s will see you needing a bank loan . They were tiny and the skins rubbed off with your finger, full of flavour not like these days where they are the size of a fist with no flavour

They are the best be sure of the type of seed, first earlies use Ulster Sceptre, then Rocket and Maris Bard. My Ulster sceptres are nearly ready and I can guarantee you they are not just spuds from Cheshire. Kent’s, Cornish and Lincolns are also fabulous using the three seed types are the secret.
