or do you finish a fish and chips. I never seem to manage it all. I don't have it often but was passing a good chippy earlier and got tempted and went for one. I could have done with sharing it

I'm sure it's a sin to leave any fish and chips, I always finish them.

No I can never finish it, it's so nice until it feels greasy then I have to stop.

Although I don't finish all of anything, I think I've some strange psychological thing where I have to leave a bit of everything.

Yes I managed the fish but only a third of the chips and was more than plenty for me. I am glad I did not ask for bits on top

If it's from my local chip shop I get it for lunch and save half for dinner.

In a pub/Beefeater place I usually leave some of the batter. They don't usually give you lots of chips, but if they do I share them with my sister, who gets a salad.

I was just going to go and cook dinner - now I fancy fish and chips. At least it is sunny and I can finish them all sitting outside.

Freeze any left over chips and when you're peckish just reheat them in an air fryer, they come out perfectly.

For a fat bird I'm not much of a chip eater.

I'll have a handful but then I get very bored of them. They're just meh.

As long as the batters crispy and it isn’t a soggy disaster. Has to be curry sauce too with no mushy peas in sight.

I usually get that! It's normally a set price and comes with a drink and side (curry sauce being my choice). It's amazing!

Always gonna eat the fish, may leave the batter if it's soggy.

Chips are a no brainer, there's always breakfast, or a seagull

Mini fish and chips is just right. Regular portions need to be shared out.

Anyone else go for a pot of gravy with their fish?

I will be complaining to my local one as to why they don't mini ones and they will be more economical too. £9 it was today. Mind you, whe younpay £4.50 for a coffee, what do you expect

Meh...just buy the kids F&C...

I can't eat it anymore, too greasy.

But it was always one of those things I hankered after, then had and didn't enjoy as much as I thought I would... but I would 9/10 eat the entire lot...
