I mean, if you're not what they're looking for, that's what's going to happen. It's a possible outcome you need to be okay with or your time here won't be a particularly smooth one. |

Why is it that you wonder about that?
It's obvious ...
There's another potential reason. Some profiles are set up by nasty people . They'll take your photo , search for your other online presence and may try to blackmai1 / extort money . It might be rare, but it does happen so be aware. Especially with profiles that don't look well established. |

If someone suggests exchanging pics, they send one first.
If they don't agree that's fine, they can move on. "
Totally agree. I actually couldn’t care less what someone looks like, but if they see it as a big deal then they should send one first; and not one wearing sunglasses or a silly hat. |
