I do like a bit of banter at work and I have recently had a change of career, so I haven't managed to gauge everyone's levels of humour yet, but I think I worked it out at the work do last night 😬 someone had bomb bombs for their secret santa present and she said she couldn't wait to use them when she got home. She is in her early 30s, has been described to me as the life and soul of the party. So me saying "hope you got a good target when you fire them out of your fanny like ping pong balls later" got the look of I've just run over her nan!.......
Anyone else made a tit of themselves recently? |

This is why I won’t be going to my wife’s work Christmas dinner next week.
I don’t know her work mates, I know nothing about them at all so would rather not go than go and not speak in case I make a twat of myself. |

A family get together a couple of months ago.
A few in their 70s were marvelling how Brexit had made us wealthier.
I gave them some unwelcomed ONS data, and asked what they understood "cognitive dissonance" to mean.
They went quiet, shuffled a little uncomfortably at the challenge to their "elderly wisdom".
And then they left.
Well....they started it . |

Old people should get a free pass really for politics, racism, sexism, political correctness and wokeism they can’t keep up with any of it …..my great-gran is 102 , still laughs out loud if she hears an Asian with Yorkshire or Scottish accent. Her shrunken little head just cannot understand whats occurring. |

I'll give 'em a free pass if they undergo a "fit to vote" test starting at age 60 (just over 2 years away for me) and it gets renewed every 2 or 3 years thereafter.
Most 12 year olds have better cognitive abilities, yet they can't vote until 18 (16 in some rare cases).
And...there are benefits to Brexit (just not the ones people got suckered into via their own self-perpetuated dissonance and prejudice). |
