Do you have one? A USP?
Has it changed over time?
Is it something you’re conscious of? Or not?
Others are also welcome to comment on what they think it is, keeping it kind, though, please!

My brand, or PR exercise, is to periodically send a pair of my boxers (or the occasional tie) to a worthy forumite. It keeps my profile fresh as a daisy in doing so.
The recipients know who they are. Obviously.
Anyway, I bumped this thread for you, OP.💌 |

I will be a good boy on this thread.
Phew - that bought me some time.
My brand is some amalgam of absurd, yukky, clever-dicky, aloof, playful, weird, stupidly annoying, and perhaps brave.
Oh, and you're deffo one of my favourite favourite people here 😘 xxxx |

Can we have a tie please. Rest assured we’ll use it to tie each other up 😏 |

Our brand… I don’t think we’ve ever considered this. Our values would be kindness, honesty, openness. Our weaknesses would be a lack of available time, and a sort of inoffensive indifference to Fabland. Are we high value or cheap and disposable? Our perception of ourselves is the former, the way we’ve been treated is the latter. So who knows. Market research is always valuable though, so post your thoughts below or DM the inbox - management holds no responsibility for third party opinions, nor promises to act upon suggestions x |

We are just as we are in real life. What you see is what you get.
Mrs : as described by husband
It's like being married to Pinkie Pie on a sugar rush. Loving, caring, crazy as hell but in a cute kind of way. She is an amazing mother and works incredibly hard in all aspects of life.
Mr : as described by wife
This man is like a walking hard on. He is funny, kind and an amazing husband, father and uncle. He works hard but doesnt take life too seriously.
Together : We love each others company. We have a good laugh and love having fun.
We are not fake or pretentious. We dont like drama either. We are just us.

I've been informed I have USPs, I hadn't heard the term before.
Interestingly, they've varied, so I've concluded it's very much in the eye of the beholder.
I would guess the demi aspect is relatively rare. It does seem appreciated by some women: who like to set the pace, or enjoy seducing and evoking arousal. I think for some it's more a curiousity of: 'why haven't you tried to get into my knickers yet?' which has been asked directly on more than one occasion.
I think that's more unique in the sense of a narrow target market than mass appeal though, if we are going to talk in marketing parlance. Commodity fetishism so crass, as if I'd want to feel like a preyed upon piece of meat whose sole function is to fulfill your every desire and to see it in your eyes, feel it in your nails, when they sink deep into my flesh, as your body shudders with primordial abandonment.
Ok maybe I do. |

As I shuffle towards the end of the fab conveyor belt, heading, predetermined, to the bin of obsolete averageness; I have thought about this, and can't think of any factor that, if I could come back here younger, I could promote as being worth anything to anyone.
I probably should have read this thread before getting the picture of an ice lolly seared into my skin though... |

"No, I try to be authentic as possible. What I am like on here is pretty much how I am with everybody."
Sameeeeeeee. Aside the bit where I might have sex with someone who isn't my husband. I only do that via Fab. |

Hey NipNips, it's good to read a thread from you. 🩷
No, I don't think I have a particular USP. I think if I was to suggest anything, it wouldn't necessarily be a USP (others might not recognise those things in me) but more the qualities I like and strive for; the things I'd like to be seen as but perhaps fall short of to others. If it's a USP surely it should be easily recognisable to others?
I think it's hard to be so... well almost detached, clinical, realistic about ourselves and identify our actual USPs. We're not a company, we're far more nuanced. Far too attached to ourselves to be objective.
So, I guess I can't answer as to what my USP is. I could always tell you some traits I like of mine/wish I had. |
