OK I am wondering if anyone out there still puts Christmas Cards on a string on the wall ... is that still a thing and did you ever do it?

I don't send them usually, I can never be bothered to write them out. I do send one to the Children at work with a chocolate coin inside though

It’s been maybe 7-8 years since we have received enough Christmas cards to hang on a string on the wall.We now just put what we have on the fire place or dining table.

I used to send loads, but then I realised 2 things.

1, some people I only saw once a year. When I delivered their card.

2, the people whom I made the most effort for, writing a bespoke limerick and so on, I saw every week or so and made an effort all year round.

I then stopped sending cards. Apart from to my mum and dad, but my continued enjoyment of popping round to theirs for Sunday dinner relies on such things.
