I don't look for anything, nor do I go speculatively scouring for new friends in order to bolster my status feeds.
In all the years I've been on here my 'friends list' rarely goes into double digits. I've never even sent a friend invite. |

I’m usually in a more rural area, so I think friends from around me are rarer, I think having friends to chat to on occasion would be good. Do you all meet with people before being friends on here, or just after chatting for a while?  |

If you just want additional updates then use the hot list.
I only add friends once I've met someone, or they're good friends of people I know.
Sure, it's nice to be able to see photos that the general population can't. But most people keep those for people they actually want to meet rather than anyone that just asks. |

My friends list has always been in single figures by choice.
I only accept requests from those I've been chatting to for a while and if we aren't compatible even as chat buddies I won't accept.
I chat to one of my fab friends every single day. I haven't chatted to any of the others in months and in some cases a couple of years so there will be a New year cull. |

Our friends list is small, just a few people we have met socially and intend to play with, people we have met socially and get on really well with, people we have had fun with.
I usually do fab admin and remove people every now and again.

Single guys have a much harder time, because you know, economics. It's nothing personal son. Just there are more guys aka supply then there are couples and women aka demand. (Wait until I go into price elasticity tho. Then the fab fun really starts.) |
