What is the earliest memory that you have of a tv show??

I’m not talking about your favourite show from when you were a kid. I’m talking about the show that you have the earliest faintest memories of?

Mine were Jamie and the magic torch and Rentaghost.

Cable TV ? We had a black and white television that you had to walk about with the aerial to find a signal. We had 3 channels, which required a person to get up and twiddle a button to change channel

I auditioned for that! Didn't get it. 😖

My earliest TV memory; Cheers & M*A*S*H (I know a lot of the kids TV mentioned here, is in there in the back of my mind, but it's not 'memorable'. I remember as a little kid while my parents watched these, thinking how funny they were - even though being so young I had no clue what half the jokes were, just enjoyed feeling grown up laughong along with my folks!!)

I bet you'll remember the Flashing Blade and the head flipping Singing Ringing Tree too?"

Oh yes!

Yes, there was something wrong with its mouth. No hare lip jokes, thank you.

ilkley and Stockport

Some children's serial made in Australia called "Ten Town". Other than the title I recall basically nothing about it, and t'internet has similar depth of information!

Also a programme called "Orlando", of which according to the BFI there only still exists a 3 minute clip out of about 80 episodes!
