We take it in turns with sh:24 and we test anytime we’ve been active in any way with anyone outside of our relationship.
H did the last one in December.
We mainly test for our own piece of mind to ensure when we meet new people we can be confident we’re not endangering their sexual health. |

Just out of interest what actually comes in a home test kit? I test every three months at my local hospital and it's two vials of blood, urine test, mouth throat swab, penis swab, not done anal as of yet.

December. Haven't had sex in god knows how long but I thought it still best to get it done and that way I can at least say I'm clean with assurity. It can be worrying about HIV when every so often I have to clean up someone else's blood, spit or vomit. I take every precaution to protect myself but accidents do happen. |

You can get a kit that has blood vials mouth swabs anal swabs.
Or you can do one with just blood vials no oral anal swabs. |

Also seems to depend on area and how you answer in relation to your lifestyle. I use SHL (inner London only) and always say that I participate in group sex even when I don't. That way I get vag, oral and anal tests plus the option of going on Prep if I wanted to |

It depends on the service that is offered in your area. I get asked a series of questions and based on my answers I get a throat and vagina swab, and blood spot tests for HIV and Syphilis. If I answer the questions differently they would offer anal swabs and Hepatitis C blood tests. Some people I know only get swabs for chlamydia and gonorrhea and no blood tests. |

Last month. Yes.
Only tine I don't get tested is when I go through dry spells. Even then I do 2 tests after the last sex I had.
No one else is going to look after my health. I play safe but still check regularly |

Sent mine off a week ago,not heard back yet.
Here,you can opt for the home testing kit with options for sex with both men & women.
That kit includes swabs for throat & anus, a pee kit & a blood vial with two lancettes. |

I really don’t think it was that shocking. She asked me if I get paid for sex and I said no, she asked me if my partner is paid for sex and she ticked no before I could answer, and the truth is there’s a cub I’ve been meeting for some time who half my age and far more attractive than I am and men pay him for his company - he says there’s no sex but I’m not sure I believe him  . So i was trying to explain this to her and she was staring at me like I was telling her that every second Tuesday I eat fresh dog turds off the pavement. |

Was tested in hospital at the start of the year due to gyne issues.. as sine of my symptoms could have been sti related ( they weren't)
Just about to do my home kit... depends on how active we have been to when we test x tends to be monthly for me if doing greedy girl stuff |

I'm in the same boat dude but I still got it done. Because of my job I sometimes deal with other peoples bodily fluids and it potentially puts other people at ease. |

Currently waiting for a test to arrive… not because I’ve played since splitting up with my ex, but because the dickhead had unprotected sex with his affair girlfriend and also me!
Pisses me off that he put my sexual health at risk when I would never do that to myself!

Tested every three months at a local sexual health clinic as is mandatory for PrEP prescription.
Bloods, oral and anal swabs. Last tested this month - all clear.
The nurses and doctors there really put you at ease, so it's a doddle. They also think everyone should be on PrEP! |

Feb 17th. Got results on Monday 24th all clear. Not had sex since beginning of February.
Had hep B vaccine or is it C? I forget which. I got to make another appointment in May for the final jab.
It's crap for testing around here. No free kits for my age group. If I'm under 24 it's all good.
Its hard to get an appointment because the nearest clinics open at 830 at least half hour AFTER I start work and they do not do weekends at all, late nights on certain days, but still have to ring up in the morning and on the right day for an evening appointment.

We can't get clinic based testing (appointment or otherwise) for asymptomatic screening here. BUT mega news is that it seems we can now get SH24 test kits! This is a new development. Previously we had to pay for kits because we were too old for free testing.
We've not been in the slightest bit active since before last summer, due to my incessant health problems and haven't even been massively doing the Sex much between us, even. So not bought a kit since August last year.
I've just availed myself of the fact we CAN now get SH24 and await its arrival! |

Last got tested in January. Negative result received 17 Jan. I do it every 3 months.
Do I need to? Yes, for my own peace of minds others. It's the responsible thing to do. I use condoms but oral is awful with a condom or dam. |
