"I’m too old to be sitting on the top of the bus regularly. I go upstairs if I’m with my daughter or there’s no seats downstairs"
So just like the energy I give off, I’m saying bottom. |

Love the top but hate going all the way up the stairs to find there were no seats and having to cling on for dear life coming back down when they did handbrake turns round the bends (well, it felt like it 😳) |

"I've never been on a bus in London.
I would really like to go on a road train, like the ones in Manchester.
Try Croydon"
Why would I go to Croydon though? Doesn't really give off that quarter zip twunty energy that has me slick. |

The metrolink is quite snazzy, I don't think I've ever heard anyone refer to it as a road train before though |

Is the metro link Manchester's version of the underground? |

That's exactly what it is. Except for the underground bit |

I was about to say this 🤣
Its more akin to the overground as none of it is below terrain but yeah it's trams |

Does it run like the overground or is it better? |

Varies depending on which line. Some have a lot of engineering works. The line I live on is pretty good tbf and the trams are every ten mins even on Sundays. |

Haven't used it for years so not quite sure. Services used to be late most of the day on most days. Single trams showed up during peak times and double trams showed up late at night when hardly anyone was around. Hopefully it's better these days |

Sounds like the overground. But it must be awful at peak times given it's around 10 minutes. I did always hate taking the overground for that reason. The platforms would always fill up between trains |

Oh yeah I avoid it at peak times, especially when the football is on. Packed in like sardines. |

Sounds terrible if you have to take it for work! At least with the underground, it's sometimes not so bad if you skip the first train.
I'm quite lucky because my work route is never extremely busy. |

"Bottom.
I'm too clumsy, those stairs are lethal.
Me too, but I also banged my head standing on the bottom last week, so I guess I'm simply too clumsy for buses. "
Likewise
I once missed the step walking down and flew down on my arse 😂 |
