"Copenhagen and Stockholm "

Both very open and clean. Friendly people.

Nicosia was great too, despite being divided. Very familiar in some ways (British influence).

Valencia - the old town is fantastic, great food

Copenhagen was the best, it's a beautiful city, nice and short flight and I went there to use a spermbank and got a wonderful viking child, so it's an extra special place for me.

New York still top of my tree. Nothing beats that trip into Manhatten over the Brooklyn Bridge. The whole world is on that island.

In Europe Lisbon probably my favourite. Lovely city with great beaches very close by.

Croydon

Cape Town nestled in Table Mountain - beautiful esp when the clouds roll off the top. Has the city, nature and beaches all on its doorstep.

And New Orleans - for a night out anyway. Lots of fun!

I went to Venice last year with my best friends and fell in love with the place. Beautiful buildings, the atmosphere. Loved it all.

Berlin

Mainly because of its history, but also because it's really easy to navigate and has more than its fair share of salubrious drinking establishments

Bratislava, Riga and Oslo are my top favourites. Not a fan of Vienna and Amsterdam (adore The Netherlands though). Banjul was interesting

And some of us Croydon ladies have been known to get our baps out in exchange for a plastic beaded necklace, so definitely very similar.

Actually I did don a plastic necklace with penises all around it for Mardi Gras over there. I think you might be onto something here...

Belfast

San Francisco because it was full of life and energy as well as history.

Bilbao which was easily accessible on foot and is a beautiful city.

Geneva which has so much going for it and free transport to explore and which also takes you through some of the deprived areas so you see both sides.

Granada for it's architecture and amazing history.

Las Vegas just for the experience but not somewhere I would be in a rush back to.

Reykjavik too as its such a friendly city. Close to breath taking scenery and massively LGBTQIA+ friendly too which was amazing. Great book shops too to enjoy a warm drink when cold. At Christmas time the vibe is very much hallmark Christmas movie

My favourite place in NY is actually the Bronx. I used to go when we’d visit family and it felt more like an authentic experience. But I do also love the city because it’s stunning. Plus family visits to NY are how I fell in love with the Knicks
