What's your opinion on raucous loud a bit d*unk laddetes in the pub.

Was watching a pub karaoke night and some of the girls were getting a bit loaded an rowdy, with some lewd behaviour thrown in dress hitching a bit jokey fanny fiddling, dry humping, lewd language but all in good fun, they were actually actually quite friendly to other pub goers and just having a laugh.

Would it bother you, turn you on find it entertaining or just not what you want while your having a drink.

I find it hard to be bothered by people having a good time.

Sometimes it's annoying but I'm perfectly able to leave.

doesn’t bother me, doesn’t offend me, doesn’t effect me in anyway whatsoever really, just leave them to enjoy themselves 👍🏻😃

If we went to a karaoke night we'd expect there to be a lot of noise so it wouldn't bother us at all, and would probably enjoy their energy.

I would not choose to go to certain places as that would be sort of 'asking for it'. However loud and unrully behaviour whether in a normal pub, restaurant, cafe, hotel or whatever is unacceptable but sadly too common. Certain people feel it's ok to do so around others who are trying to enjoy their meal, coffee or holiday. It is so uncouth but if you dare say anything or eve look displeased will probably hear a barage of foul language or at worst end up in a&e. 🤷‍♂️

I don't drink so rarely in pubs.

I was at a pub quiz recently though and there were a lot of family teams with young kids.

One of the teams was made up entirely of young women and they spent the whole night shouting out lewd answers to every question and drowning out the quizmaster.

Two families left when they starting screaming about having an orgasm.

There's a time and a place and this wasn't it.

Definitely not in front of children, the quizmaster should have controlled it.

It's not a problem if it's within reason without offending other adults too heavily. It's difficult if it's a drinking venue though.

here there and everywhere

Not a bother to me at all… as long as they aren’t being disrespectful to others, good on them having a good time

I’d leave. People can have their fun, it would probably bother me/ disturb my peace so I’d leave.

Karaoke is going to be loud but I'd want somewhere quieter, if anyone was being over the top noisy

Yep, karaoke bound to attract a rowdier crowd, great atmosphere though.

Love quiet pubs too, just to chill, eat n drink.

Rarely in pubs late in the evening when loud behaviour may happen.

Does sometimes annoy me but often down to jealousy that they are having more fun than me

I only go to my local if the likely atmosphere will suit my mood. So if I’d been there OP, then I’d be fine with it. Probably enjoyed the Lipstick Lesbian show!

I don't like rowdy groups, be them male, female or mixed

Everyone has the right to be rowdy once in a while

My rowdy days are behind me now

So, I tend towards places that aren't rowdy

I am with you but not many of those places left sadly. Shall we start collecting names of such places and put a little guide together and then sell it for a bob or two?

I'd do the same.

We left a club a couple of weeks ago because a bunch of the women in the bar area were really loud and obnoxious.

I'm a Friday Goth, that's when I do goth things, like dress in black, with a tinge of red or purple. I think Friday's a good day of the week to be a goth.

I leave when inebriated groups start getting loud, but nowadays I'd rather go to a restaurant for an evening out anyway

Crumpet Castle

It's unclear as to whether their behaviour or their gender is the main issue here.

The 'fanny fiddling' bothers me more than the drinking and shouting.

Change the gender and overt sexual behaviour in public especially in drink wouldn't be as overlooked as it has been here.

What do you mean by Fanny Fiddling ?

There were 6 “laddetes” on a table next to me and a couple of mates in one of our popular town centre pubs just recently. They were being loud and raucous, and people around us were giving them the glares etc. I turned my chair around and started chatting with them, it was 3 mums with 3 daughters, well on with the alcohol, and full of beans! One of them decided to try to embarrass me talking about dogging…….did they choose the wrong person for such a topic lol…..

They calmed down anyway

I don't like any raucous d*unk people. So I don't go into pubs very often - problem solved.
