As a man would you wear make up?
It has been acceptable for woman to wear it for decades so as a man what stops you?
Sometimes I look at the bags under my eyes or the wrinkles and think maybe a dab of concealer would help
This isn’t about why woman wear it but a question to see if men would or why they don’t
For the woman would it put you off if you noticed someone had something subtle? |

I probably wouldn't notice subtle make up.
When I was 18 my friend and I had holiday romances. We couldn't work out why we had black on our faces when we got in and later discovered they'd been using make up on their facial hair .
Men wearing make up isn't anything new |

"I saw an article today that said Japanese male police officers have to learn how to use make up as part of their training. "
How weird! How does that help them in their job I wonder. |

Not for me … my skin complexion is ok I do moisturise but won’t apply make up .. not my thing!
On a rugby club tour years ago I did get my toe and fingers nails painted ( by others when I was unconscious) was not very fetching !

"new romantics had plenty eye liner on early 80s
I bet you did the Adam Ant thing too
Young Adam Ant was so hot 🥵"
Didn't he have a cameo in that Aussie spy drama Nikita? some years ago? |

I wore makeup as part of my job for years and went to make up school.
I would always take my make up off after a show but leave the residue of eyeliner across my lash line. Guys wouldn't notice that but my women friends did. |

My (very macho, in some ways) Grandad used to use an eyebrow pencil to colour in his moustache when it went grey. It was quite the thing to watch him do when I was a child
He didn't seem in the slightest bit bothered by it being a stereotypical female thing to own [an eyebrow pencil]. |

No.
It does nothing for me, and I definitely wouldn’t wear it for someone else’s benefit.
I find it refreshing when a woman doesn’t wear any, some women have very good make up skills but the vast majority do not, unskilled makeup application is not a good look, male or female. |

I wouldn't wear makeup because I don't like stuff on my face. Don't even like sunscreen (though I'll wear it when I absolutely need to) - feels like my face is dirty and I want to wash it off.
If you like it then crack on 👍 just don't run for vice president of the USA on a conservative ticket I guess? |

Gary Numan looks good with his.
If there's fancy dress, I'll try, but having sensitive skin, I have a hard time trying not to itch. seeing as my eyes are really sensitive I use Boots cucumber eye gel (make up remover) to soothe and cool the eyes. |

Try Calypso once a day, feels like olive oil and smells like vodka, as a naturist I can vouch that it's really good. Cheap too. A little goes a long way. Put it on 15 mins before getting dressed and going into the sun. |

Personally I wouldn't wear it as I'm not "vain" enough to do so. Please don't take vain the wrong way here. At end of the day we all dress in whatever makes us feel good and confident personally. So if wearing makeup as a man is what makes you feel good. Go for it. Who cares what others think. It's about how it makes you feel. Those who judge you aren't for you anyway. |

guyliner seems to be a thing with some men, not something i’d ever entertain, i see makeup as a way to enhance features, some women use it to hide imperfections, when i’ve seen guys with makeup on they pretty much remind me of a clown. |

Oh if I was an 80s dude, I’d totally wear make-up. And I’d get away with it, coz I’m a musician
I think it was Charlie Murphy who said…
“Back in the 80s. The more you looked like a bitch, the more bitches you got” 😂 |
