Just this morning renewed our site supporter status.
That's despite the owners - not the forums mods - rather idiosyncratic approach to censoring mention of other lifestyle sites and clubs that are linked to them. This includes our local club which is friendly, fun and hosts sexy events for non-monogamous folks like the ones here on fab.
This afternoon it seems greedy girl events are added to the banned list.
Why should we pay money for a site that increasingly prevents us exploring our interests?
And can we get that fiver back from this morning?

I've asked this.. as I don't think that it is very clear which events are excluded.. ie is it says type events... well that covers bukkake, gb and a whole other type of events... like milf Mondays.. MOTD at cupids, fuck fest at club play.
What about adult cinema visits that say when ladies/ couples are going...
I don't want to fall foul of the rules but is it just the mentioned events or all that involve group play. |

I hope not. A fiver is 500 pennies. 500 divided by 30 is ermmmmmmm 10.7 p per day or thereabouts... and nowhere does it say that it is payment for advertising other sites....

I'm not sure it's even just the advertisement. These days there's a painful preoccupation with vicarious liability to contend with also.
I agree the site takes protectionism a bit far, but it is their prerogative. It's an entirely voluntary association, there's no indication of this being the property of the service users or any level of democracy at play.
I don't mind paying them, as it's a modest fee and there's no gouging, up selling or soul sapping pop-up adverts in my face every second. Even Bezos can't seem to manage to resist that temptation and we all know he's on the brink of poverty. |

I've seen plenty of people advertising events on their status, do they all get bans?
I just curious having never organised anything like that and probably never will.
Am I being stupid but why would a greedy girl event be banned?? |

Pay for the extra features, as you use the site for free or not.
Contact Admin, if you wish to request a refund due to your misunderstandings.
Can post suggestions in the feedback forum, with your ideas for how to improve and change the site.
It's always been that Fab doesn't provide free coverage for all sex related ventures |

I see people complaining about the site a lot, a few regular updates about not being sure they want to renew. Everytime I see this, I wonder why. If £5 is such a big deal to spend then maybe you shouldn't be here...
I'm not judging when I say that but to me, being so worried over £5 would suggest your financial priorities should be elsewhere and not here! |

Yes, on several websites which we can't mention on here. This is the only site, we believe, where mentioning other sites gets you censured.
Why pay the £5 if we're not happy with the site? The same reason we might pay for other sites - it's a question of balancing the pros and cons of using any site. We'd happily list the pros and cons of other sites, but again you can't do that here.
Are we likely to pay again? That will depend on the pros and cons when it comes up for renewal - but the harder it gets to use the site the less likely we are to pay to use it. |

Also,
We understand that the owners have the right to run the site in anyway they see fit.
And as some have pointed out £5 isn't a lot, and we understand that we aren't getting it back - it was a question that anyone might ask when the service provided changes for the worse. |
