Someone older than you, to sprinkle their advice when asked..

Even if you're 90, you could find someone that's 110 or something..

Yes. Everyone should have a mentor a guide or a role model..... I think as an adult though it does not have to be someone older than you but someone with the principles, values and wisdom in which you would put your trust

I don't know about a parental figure, my parents were a55holes, but definitely wise to have some friends who give sound advice and have life experience.

I think it's possible to get to a stage in your life when you don't need a parental figure but you do need at least one good friend/partner
