What topic(s) are you grateful for researching and you would recommend that everyone should learn about to benefit their life? I'll start with Narcissist's and carnivore diet, absolutely life changing for me

Critical thinking and evaluating information quality would be a good start for everyone.

I'd throw in some philosophy for good measure too.

Yes, I think everyone should be familiar with the scientific method and the basic hierarchy of academic literature.

If you like history, the historical-critical method is also very useful, but it's much harder to use that generally.

I think people should also study logic, and learn to recognise fallacious argumentation

Narcissist, as I now realise why I attach them and how sorry i feel fir them and how desperate they are to get your attention.

Spiritual and letting go of ego is massive step forward for me.

I learnt how to change a tyre at school on one of the teachers cars (very brave!).

It's quite possibly my most used skill from school

I know I am being pedantic……..but do you actually mean change a tyre, or change a wheel.

"Seriously, astrology."

Which version of astrology would you recommend?

On top of that, I would recommend numerology. I am more well versed with Arabic numerology and astrology but I think there's an eastern version as well which is interesting.

I believe this is basically a principle of the historical-critical method. If we've observed behaviour in previous groups, it stands to reason the group we're observing now will exhibit the same behaviour

Philosophy especially epistemology, logic and ethics.

If there's one thing I have learnt it's to research not just the things that confirm my beliefs, but to try and find the value in those things that seemingly oppose them. I am very grateful for that.

Joined a trip while on holiday in Gran Canaria to star gaze, saw it advertised in a travel agents window, just thought it would be something a bit different.

It was a fabulous night, lovely German guy explained and pointed out such wondrous sights, some fascinating, some a bit scarey.

From this experience we went to Norway to see the Northern Lights, breathtaking and bloody freezing.

Basic cooking and those terrible calories.

The ability not to take yourself too seriously.

Basic DIY, up to a level of fitting a new kitchen or bathroom, apart from gas and electrics. Will save a fortune renovating your property and throughout your life.

Don't buy in grief, stay clear of drama queens and remember misery loves company, learn to say no and move along.

Try to say yes to almost everything.

Compound interest.

Yes, it takes time to burn it off, with dieting there is delayed gratification, so one have trust the process to see the results in few months time, patience is the key with dieting too
