So I was viewed and winked at by someone local to me after reading their profile I am 8 years older than they are looking for so I just deleted the wink and went on with my day.
Just had them view and wink again.
Why? |

Maybe the age range is just a preference but are willing to meet outside of that range too |

As long as you aren't actually blocked from messaging outside that age group then you can message. The wink and the view *could* be considered interest. |

Unless things have changed you can only wink someone once every 30 days so maybe they had forgotten they had done so before. If you don't want them to do it again just don't delete the wink and that means they can't send another one. |

The winks expire after 30 days but if you delete it they can wink again. |

It's a hint that they may be interested.
Whether to respond in any way is up to you.

Shouldn't my deletion of the first one be taken as I'm not interested though? |

If you like the look of their profile ignore the age limit and contact them say hello unless the age limit stops you doing that!
If they’re interested they’ll chat and maybe meet for a social if you click what’s the harm in being friendly? |

They won't know that you've deleted a wink. You don't get notified.
Easier to either tell them or block them. Both are clear messages of your feelings on the wink. |
