Calling all Slade fans. How does it feel 50yrs on.
It's Slades film Flame 50th anniversary on 13th February 2025.
Are you a Slade fan? What are your favourite memories and songs?

Jesus, is it that long ago! Good film, great band.. saw em a few times when I was younger and if u listen to a lot of the tracks lyrics, they were so far in front of their time …. Album, “nobody’s fool” track “ all the world is a stage”  |

I thought it was a good film, exposing the skullduggery of the music industry and battle of the bands.
I saw it too, at my local cinema, got to see it a couple of times as my mum was an usherette.
How does it feel, seems very poignant. |

Yeh 50yrs, time flies. They knocked out song banging tunes, a head of their time definitely.

"Massive Slade fan. I loved all their music. Saw them live a few times at Wolverhampton civic Hall. Once stood next to Nod at the bar in the Trumpet pub in Bilston. "
