Are you one? I am just sorting stuff in the house and can't believe how much stuff is everywhere. Some never knew I had, some not seem for years. Not healthy and I am trying to be ruthless. Who on earth has hundreds of xmas bags, as an example. I am sure I mentioned the number of shoes I gound recently that have never been worn already. I am shocked with myself and the waste. Tut, tut to me. I must do better  |

We aren't hoarders but my goodness we have a lot of 'stuff'. We both have hobbies that need things, books that we can't get rid of for professional reasons or because we haven't read them yet or might read again, clothes, accessories...you name it and it's in a cupboard somewhere in our house. Don't get me started on the sheds.🤷♀️ |

Letters I seem to keep I have a full black bag of them in the cupboard some from year dot I know I could get a shredder for them but what if something comes up & I need them to prove something you just never know |

I like to have a lot around me. It comforts me. I put a lot of emotion into stuff. I find I can't throw out old clothes or shoes because I remember sentimental things that happened when I was wearing those. I find it hard to donate books because I remember things I was feeling when I was reading them. And it's hard to let those things go. For me. |

I am, unfortunately my family are the opposite so constantly trying to make me get rid of stuff or getting me to take them with their bits to the dump, they feel cleansed but I feel sick seeing the treasures that people throw away there.
They don't feel happy unless they're constantly tossing stuff out and then later on they have to buy it again because they did need it again, but I like to keep things incase I or someone else might need/use it, and apparently I'm the one with the problem not them.  |

Not on purpose!
I'm not overly sentimental or keep things "just on case", but I do neglect to get rid of stuff when it's no longer required because I'm disorganised. Having kids doesn’t help. |

In my line of work I deal with Hoarders,or rather the consequences when they have died.People who think they are a Hoarder because they have a lot of stuff really aren't.When every room is full,floor to ceiling,wall to wall,there is only a tiny narrow walkway through the house,3/4 of the stairs width are used as shelves,the bath is storage and you need the lights on in daylight because the windows are blocked,then you are a Hoarder.When you are found dead after three weeks under a pile of stuff that collapsed,then you are a Hoarder.And rather smelly. |
