But then people say many don’t read the bio so may be a cunning plan to make people ask for more info

I see it a fair bit. My first thought is lack of time. But if it's been a more than two weeks, they just can't be bothered. I won't engage with them either way. It doesn't give me anything to engage with anyway. |

Even if it was a day old I wouldn't be interested. I've always actively avoided even looking at new profiles, to give them a chance to settle in and get acquainted with the site. But it's common sense to at least write a bit about yourself even if you update it later.
No doubt if a single woman's profile they'd still be bombarded with mail from men looking to be first in the queue even with no words and no photos. 🤷♂️🤦♂️ |

My viewpoint is that women, unlike the gentlemen on here, posses the inherent inability to conjure sufficient prose and narrative for their flimsy profiles.
Their target audience live with eternal hope that something of substance will fall through the cracks and embed itself in their profile. Alas, there is more content in the vacuum of Space than in the average women's profile. And there are plenty of average women on here. Do not even tempt me with the mediocre ones.

Not being a wordsmith ant not great at spelling meant our profile had to evolve. We still add, delete and change parts of it
Will fill in later on a new profile that’s been paid for is a not interested from us |

Personally I wouldn’t message anyone who makes minimum effort, as they are probably entitled and lazy, in many levels.

Big turn off. Empty profiles with no bios are my bug bear on here. It's not hard to write a quick paragraph saying why you're here and what you're looking for. It doesn't need to be war and peace. Profiles hook me and messaging reels me in. So if the profile is shit we likely won't even get to the messaging. |

It all depends on how long the person has been a member. Three months or less, fair enough. Longer than that, probably not seriously interested in swinging. Also if there for a long time, could be a man pretending to be fem/cpl… |

A bio is just words. I could write anything in that and it won't be a reflection of my true identity, which goes for everyone else. Likewise the same goes for a bio with nothing on it or "fill in later". I could write that in my bio with an account 5 months old because I'm thinking of a new bio to write.
I've seen profiles with just a single sentence and yet their verifications appear positive (on the surface at least).
It's also worth considering that not everyone is a master class wordsmith. I know many of you may have been misunderstood regarding a topic if discussion because you could have written something more concise and less likely to open to misinterpretation. "Will fill in later" could be short for "I need to write a new bio, I wasn't happy with the old ones and I'm taking my time to put more thought into a new bio for myself"...
You can never be too sure or so quick to judge someone over the Internet. You don't know them. |

I was thinking Fab could just add the explicit text, that they're lazy and clueless, perhaps additionally to the bare minimum standard text. They could tick the box, to make it explicit and official |

Some guys are so entitled they think just by setting up an account will get the women flocking, then when it doesn't work they come on the forums calling all women all the names under the sun. Does make me wonder if they've ever interacted with a woman in real life |

I used to like a good, well thought out profile expressing their likes and dislikes and a bit of personality so I could judge whether we would be compatible. But we all like different things. But if your profile attracts your type of person then there is no need to change it |
