I do sometimes. An ex used to always add 'Xx' to the end of messages and I always hated how the first x is capitalised and the second isn't. But I never said anything. But I'd sometimes send my own lone x to him in return. I'll do it sometimes but there's no pattern to it. |

To be honest - "I don't really care!" It amuses me.
I've done it & women reply to me. It doesn't seem to bother them really then does it.

I didn’t grow up with this xxx or xoxoxox meaning kisses/affection, so still feels weird to me. 
I prefer the emoji 😘😘😘😘😘 when I used to correspond with the husband back in the 90s by email it was :-* or :* |

It varies to be honest. I wouldn't usually but if another woman does it then I'll tend to do the same. I've actually picked up when I'm in the doghouse before when they haven't put it at the end of their message 😅 |

No. It's never been habitual. A few years ago, on here, a woman with whom I was chatting remarked that I never signed off with an "xx".
It just never occurred to me and I was surprised by her remark.
Now, maybe once in a while I will. These days the saviour is the "🩶" emoji for me.
