You, Them or Me?

When you’re messaging people here on fab, or replying, or commenting on threads, who is at the centre of your thoughts? Them or you?
Are you able to put someone else’s needs first or are you always thinking about what you want to get out of your interactions? Is it okay just to think of yourself and be selfish with your fabbing? Does it even matter?
I’ve seen some lovely thought provoking posts here, but quite often the replies seem to be about the person replying rather than the question they’re being asked? I’m not saying that’s wrong, just wondered what you thought about it?
Feel free to message me with nudes and offers of sexual favours. Have another wonderful sunny day folks   |

I think I’m quite bad at making my posts me based. But that is because I’m responding based on my experiences but sometimes I am aware I drone on a bit (as I am now!).
As for Fab itself, I’m here for me. My time is limited and life is short. So yeah, it’s all about me and those who may match what I’m looking for (or not, at the moment).

It depends really.
I don't send messages so that part is irrelevant but on the forums I can't remember the last time I posted something that wasn't based on personal experience.
If someone has a opinion on a particular topic that I know little or nothing about any comment I make will reflect that lack of knowledge.
If it's a subject I have experience of and I'm looking at it from my own perspective which may be totally different to everyone else's, I will make any contribution about me because anything I say will be factual.
If it's something that I know a lot about and someone is distorting the facts or refusing to accept any opinion apart from their own, my comments will definitely be about them and their stupidity or beligerence. |

I'm here to entertain myself, when I reply to a post it's based on my opinion or experiences. However I very rarely message apart to my friends then it's a two way thing. I rarely message from the forums these days but if I do it's usually something positive with them in mind and I no longer send any other messages |

I'm confused about what you mean by putting someone else's needs first on here.
When I reply to a thread I try and answer the question posed, if that involves sharing my own experiences I will. But not always. Mostly try and keep it on track to answer whatever questions they are posing.
If I'm reply to messages I am thinking about my own needs I suppose. |

That the thing though, with me at least, sometimes I can’t entertain myself and I need others to entertain me, so I guess there must be others out there *somewhere* who might like me to consider them and entertain them? Idk, as much as I hate most people I actually also really like some people and I love their minds, imagination and contributions
(but then by considering them am I actually just being selfish and considering myself….  ) |

Oh it's the other people that entertain me. But my entertain comes from them either being funny, being stupid, them being interesting or me completely taking the piss out of them in my head. The later entertains me the most |
