Got healthy budget Spain gives me more house for the money I’m spending. After a 4+bed detached, pool and land

Been traveling to different areas of Spain and Portugal for past 3 years and now gonna settle on a place.

Anyone know any hidden gems/small towns I might have missed as looking to book few more weekends away before my final decision

Always liked Nerja; away along the coast to East of Malaga but still close enough to other stuff.

All nice but like the Playa Burriana side. Good bars, beach and nice eating places. Only been in summer so not sure what off season is like.

I think it limits the amount of time you can spend there. I believe there is a rolling limit of 90 days you can spend there in the previous 6 months.

Lovely little town inland from Malaga called Olvera, locals are so friendly and house prices are lower the further you get from the coast.

Correct, I have to use a complicated spreadsheet to keep within the rules. Spanish government is trying to bring in a special tax for foreign purchasers, of up to 100%,though it may be much less or. never happen...
