What would you like to know but are afraid to ask? What would be easier to ask if you were ‘asking for a friend’?
Post your questions ‘for a friend’ below and hopefully some kind soul can answer them |

"My friend wants to know what's the difference between a boat and a ship. "
Vessels mainly used for navigation of coastal and inland waters are generally called boats, while ocean-going vessels are generally called ships. |

"Why is a lift still called a lift when it's going down.
Shouldn't it be called a 'drop'? 🤔
Have you thought about writing to your MP about this? "
I've met her. She's ok, but currently busy emptying bins and helping build a lovely footpath walk.
Also......
Is it compulsory to share foods that have 'share bag' on the packaging? Because in all honesty....I'm not keen on the notion. 🤷♂️ |

"Kitkat Chucky or blue ribbon ?
Asking for a friend.
KitKat chunky, all day long"
I’ve never understood the whole asking for a friend thing.
Am I allowed to disagree with you, because after all the question is “ not mine “ and disagreeing would give the game away. |

"Why is “asking for a friend” a thing? Why not just ask?
I feel I may be quite literal about this
Mrs TMN x"
Sometimes friends can't ask because they are too embarrassed or maybe they exist as part of a Dissociative Identity Disorder.
You can be literal and it still makes sense as a thing.

A ship is capable of carrying a boat is the definition |

"Kitkat Chucky or blue ribbon ?
Asking for a friend.
Kitkat Chunky. Always. Suprised you have to ask to be honest. Get a grip!
Sorry Tea. It had to be said. "
Sorry to inform you, but I believe your statement maybe incorrect. Kitkat, to much chocolate, blue ribbon, absolute perfection 😙🤌🏻 |

When I take my car to be cleaned it goes for a valet with a silent t.. when it’s been done it’s been valeted and the t now makes its appearance…. My friend was asking why we don’t say Val-et in stead of Val-ay |

"They have been called Blue Riband since they were invented in the 1930's !"
I know. I’ve just googled and my mind is blown, it’s a blue ribbon it’s always been a blue ribbon, it had blue ribbon on the packet. But no apparently not apparently I’ve been living in some parallel universe.
What the fuck is going on 🤯🤯🤯
Why is the world different, I’m scared |

Why has asking for a friend become such a thing that you have to put asking for me if you're asking for you? Except that even asking for a friend is asking for you too. Asking for a friend.
Or am I? |

Valleyed is a depression. Maybe due to cost of a car valet ! |

I'd normally ask a friend with this conundrum, but unfortunately I don't have any. So, how do you make friends as an adult?
Asking for a friend (obviously not one of mine though). |

"
Find a class you are interested in such as photography, yoga, drama, guitar etc
Look for local volunteers for tree planting, food banks etc
Look for walking groups
Join a church or other place of worship |
