I have reached the time of life where a snooze on the train home from work just happens. Etiquette question; acceptable and I should enjoy my 25 minutes of relaxation, or, damn rude - look at your phone like the rest of us. 🤓

Central

Sit by a window and time things so that your head knocks against it, to have you awake before you need to get off

I don't think it's an age thing, OP. I've been snoozing and stealing 40 winks on the locomotives since my mid-twenties. 🙂

I wish they had single seats on planes. I used to have a terrible habit of falling asleep and waking up on a strangers shoulder

But as to your question...you do you OP 😊

Tonypandy.

Regularly sleep in my commute to / from work. When working 12hrs and commuting 90mins each way, I need all the sleep I can get.

In the west.

Is your stop the last one Fifey? If it is snooze away.

I have a fear of falling asleep on the train home from Glasgow and missing my stop. I’ve known guys to do that and waken up in Dumfries. 😬

Ah, I have to be nimble, as it's not. I also normally catch the express, so, skips stops. 🤓

I often snooze on my commute. That's what cruise control is for, isn't it?

Here ...

My mate used to fall asleep all the time and miss his stop. Eventually be bought a house at the end of the line so the guard would wake him up when he got there ... true story!

I knew a guy once who caught a night bus at trafalgar square. Dozed off and woke up in the same place a couple of hours later. Those round trips are something to watch out for.

Always have a nap on my way to work. Luckily the end of the line. I normally wake up but others often give you a nice shoulder tap!

I used to do this on the coach to and from work, as the last stop was at the end of each of my journeys.

I wouldn't sleep on a London train. You'll wake up with no shoes and your phone and wallet gone.

Depends how you look when you snooze. Some people look peaceful and happy so that’s ok. Others look like they’ve died so it’s quite disturbing so not ok 😂😂

As long as you aren't one of those whose head falls on the shoulder of the person next to you. 🤣

You could have a longer snooze and get pfc on the return journey, unless it goes the the place where sheep quiver at the sight of humans.
