There must be many of us who plan meets and get excited with anticipation, only to be disappointed and frustrated when things don't turn out as planned.
I had one such experience today. Planned to meet in a sauna and everything seemed OK, until 30 minutes before the meeting time, my new friend had to cancel. I understand the reason and it was unforseen, but nevertheless it's still frustrating.
To try and make the best of the situation, I then drove 30 miles to Derby to go to the Attic Club, thinking there might be some like minded people to chat to and maybe more. It just happens that today was the quietest day they had seen all year. Just my luck.
Anyway, keeping my head up, and planning for better luck next time. |

"I always go in with no anticipation of anything that way you can avoid all that might be deemed negative"
This -we've recently had two different couples cancel long arranged meets just before the date. Not having anticipation doesn't mar the enjoyment of our meets that go really well. |
