Best time of the year to plant one

So who's got a huge pampas grass growing in their front garden or front balcony if you live in a flat? Got to keep the tradition going and better yet have the neighbours talking amongst themselves 😂

B&Q got the pink one for £11.99 when I went shopping for plants for the garden. Boy was I tempted. I think I'll go back and get one
