So who genuinely loved Wrexham before Hollywood came along and bastardised it?

I've always had a soft spot for them. My mum went to school with former manager Brian Flynn and at school we tried recreating Mickey Thomas' goal against Arsenal

Well Stoke has the highest paid UK executive as an owner, she just chooses not to engage. I’m a baggies fan but I think the Wrexham story is a good watch. Used to watch them play when Alex Ferguson son was their manager!

They were. And now lifelong fans also struggle to get tickets now because of the hangers on

Hopefully they don't, their American fanbase is pretty toxic on Reddit and I can't be doing with them taking over r/Championship

You could say the same about Stoke, where's the supporters from the Pulis years? The same can be said about Sunderland, I know some that switched to the Mags during our League One years, f*cking turncoats.

You'll always have a set of diehard supporters that'll stick through the bad times but once a club has some success, they're just another number in the attendance to the club.

If Wrecsam make it (for the first time since 1982),they will be doing proud the whole town and stalwarts like Dai Davies (RIP), Joey Jones, Mickey Thomas, Arfon Griffiths and Dixie McNeill. Could be an historic occasion tonight.....
