I've been using Factor 15. A spray that doesn't need rubbing in. It is great and so easy to apply, and allows a nice tan to build.

Aldi and Lidl have been found to be the most effective so I use them. Factor 30 mostly.

I have some very expensive factor 50 that came in a beauty box. It's horrible, smells nasty, sits on your skin and comes off on everything you come in contact with

I used to use 50+, for sensitive skin, and reapply frequently. My partner introduced me to Calypso once a day sun protection, a few years ago. I was very skeptical at first, thought I'd burn - but we spent a lot of time in the sun that year, naked, and I was all good! It was, I think, factor 30, then went down to 20. Tried 10 this year but not enough for me, minimum 20. Do make sure you follow instructions though - both regarding first application, the very first time you use it, and further down the line. It has be applied a minimum of 15 minutes before sun exposure. Also, we warned - it can be a bit greasy on the hands, and it smells like having vodka for breakfast when you're applying it.

I’ve been using Bali Body Cacao SPF 15 Tanning Oil. It speeds up the tanning process, gives me a lovely colour and does the job.

Pricey though, unfortunately. Lasts me as I only sit in the sun for half an hour at a time as I get too hot

The last two summers were not very good ones, and this year we very quickly went very hot. Maybe your skin was just not ready for all the exposure you got? Unless you're one of those lucky people who go on regular holidays to hot countries.

Usually abroad once a year but I’m no sun worshiper and not hugely sun tolerant

If I'm on holiday I use Australian Gold factor 30 as it also has a bronzer in it.

At home its whatever brand is on offer and usually factor 30.

Sadly I burn very easily.

If doing anything with water/sea I definitely suggest Island Tribe SPF 50 Clear Gel.

On a surfing week in Portugal the stuff I brought with me instantly went into my eyes. But the surf school sold Island Tribe and it was amazing.

Bit tricky to get in UK though

I only ever use P20 sunscreen now as it doesn’t set off my prickly heat. First one ever not to 😘

I spend as much time in the shade as I can. If I have to go out in the sun then it's factor 800 for me. Luke

I wear spf daily- in the autumn/winter I use spf50 (usually No7 or La Roche Posay)

In the summer I use SPF100 on my face.

For the body it’s good ol’ boots soltan range ☀️

A factor 50 girl and I used to stay out of the sun but this year I seem to have got certain part brown without the burning/red that occurred.

No idea whether this limited exposure of slow build up, helped my skin to react. But for someone who had to be careful for years. It is a revelation.

I use Nivea Kids factor 50 bc that's what I'm carrying around anyway and saves carrying around different bottles. If i remember though I bring Nivea Face cream factor 50 too.
